Fitbit Charge HR Calorie Accuracy

Hi all,
I have a Fitbit Charge HR and was wondering how accurate (in your experience or opinion) the calorie adjustment is on MFP.
I am (mostly) sedentary because of my desk job and recently started a couch to 5K program. Last night we warmed up and jogged 1 minute and walked 4 minutes in intervals for an hour and 15 minutes. My Fitbit is synced to my MFP account and at the end of the day, it said I earned an extra 1020 calories. This seems very high to me. I'm 225 lbs and 5'5" if this helps.

Your Fitbit burn is TDEE. Adjustments are the difference between your Fitbit burn and your MFP activity level. You can click on the adjustment in your exercise diary to see the math.
Enable negative calorie adjustments in your diary settings: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

I forgot to say I was shocked how many calories Fitbit said I could eat. But I lost the weight & have maintained for a year.0

Well your weight does mean you would burn more, but yeah it would go on TDEE. I've always listened to my fitbit calories (I have a One & a Flex) and have not put on weight in 3 years.0
