How long does ground meat keep?

I just browned some lean turkey breakfast sausage and plan on making a little egg white scramble for the next few mornings. How long do you guys think I should keep the ground turkey in the refrigerator? There are about 5 portions in there.

It says 3-4 days. I have risked it and ate meat after 5-6 days myself, but I wouldn't recommend making it a regular thing.

I'd usually go 3-4 days. Or you could freeze it in mini-portions.
