This article describes an experiment which tested the theory that imagining yourself eating chocolate could reduce your chocolate cravings.

That actually works for me. I imagine myself eating the food, the feeling and texture, chewing it and the taste etc. Then I realise that it's just too much effort and the taste will only lasts a little while and it doesn't even taste or feel good in my mouth anyway. So then I can't be bothered eating it... Maybe I'm just weird.0

I've seen other posts on here saying that if you crave a certain food you're deficient in a certain mineral/vitamin. So I could see this working, but if what I mentioned it true, is it really helping? Besides, a square of 70% dark chocolate is about 60 calories. If I'm craving it (especially during the TOM) I give into the square of chocolate and move on. Otherwise I go crazy.0

I just eat the Chocolate, log it and move on.
