Beyond the 750lb club

So I made it to the 750 club at the beginning of the month, and I'm pretty excited. You can watch me do it here. Now I'm working towards the 1000 club, and was wondering if anyone on here has made that journey? Is just consistently lifting the best way to work towards that goal? I'm just wondering if I should be doing anything beyond stick to my routine, and maintain proper form.

    750 bench?

The whole 'club' thing is silly. Focus on joining the 'lifted more than I did last time in this cycle' club.

Basically...stick to your routine and maintain proper form.

The 'club' thing is a personal goal I'd like to achieve. Nothing more. I love lifting more each time, but I also like to have something to work towards. Without structure I stray from the path with relative ease. I'll definitely stick with my routine, though. Thanks.

Great job on hitting your goal! Some feedback:
    1. You can squat more than that
    2. You can bench more than that
    3. Youre deadlift needs some help. I don't know if I'd call it a 'hitch' or what not but it's apparent you're having a hard time pushing your hips through the lift.

Next stop 1000lb club! (that's my next goal as well....i'm just below 900 right now.)

Good for you OP! Love seeing people kick sand in the faces of their goals :)

Nice work. I imagine that your deadlift will skyrocket once you work out whatever it was that was happening there. It looked awkward (and I say that as someone who isn't great at deadlifts).

Yea, by time I got to the deadlift I was exhausted, and realized after I was "finished" that I was 10 pounds away from 750, so I basically pushed beyond exhaustion for that lift. Probably shouldn't have, but I had enough control to ensure I didn't hurt myself.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I really appreciate it!

Fantasic! It takes balls to show your lifts to anyone so just for that thumbs up! I was just shy of 900 a few months ago. It will come as long as you keep at it. With determination anything is possible. Just learn as much as you can in form, watch the ever lovin life out of your videos and it will be yours! Good luck OP!

Consistency is key. Keep doing the big lifts, and back it up with the accessory work that targets your own personal weaknesses. Find a good programme like 531, 5x5 stronglifts, starting strength, or whatever, and stick to it. Eat well, sleep well, keep picking up heavy stuff.
