Inspiring other people by setting an example

I have found that I love inspiring people. Something I didn't know about myself until joining MFP. I love posting positive feedback, it sets my day. Now that I have lost my weight, I have found that real life people are also inspired. My daughter is just one size larger now, she was bigger (I think) than me at one point. My hubby is now considering his food and is actually doing sit-ups on purpose. He is not in bad shape at all, but the pounds were creeping up. My fitness goals insprired him. A very close friend of mine decided he needed to lose weight. He was probably 100 pounds overweight and is now down at least 40. He has quit drinking beer and is more careful with his diet. This has been very difficult for me to change my lifestyle, but at the moment, seeing my example and success inspire other people keeps me motivated to achieve the best! I want everyone to be their best!

You are very inspiring!! You always give encouragement and I will be forever grateful that you turned me on to the Leslie Sansone videos!
  • Very interesting and now that I think about it, I have inspired my hubby to get on an exercise plan. He used to go to the gym but, with work etc, he stopped. He went to the Dr. and was told to get 30 lbs off. So... now the topic is in the open and we got him some equipment for home. He is using it as he can go downstairs at 5AM, watch his sports on TV and before you know it, an hour is done and the day starts off positive. I like the feeling of inspiring people also. Who knows who else we have inspired and don't even know it.
