How long did it take to lose your baby weight?

I have a 5 month old, and am *starting* to get back to my pre-baby weight. How long did it take everyone to lose their baby weight? How to long to get your body back and feel in shape (a different question than just the weight on the scale)?
I'm trying not to be discouraged, but 5 months is long. --14 months since getting pregnant is even longer(!). I am finally back to exercising: doing videos, going to Barre class. Running is hard because I am breast-feeding and the bouncing breasts are very uncomfortable.
How long did it take you? All comments from new- or not-so-recent moms appreciated!
