Can anyone recommend a food scale they love?
There seem to be hundreds of choices on Amazon, are some better than others?

As long as it is electronic, has the tare feature and can do both grams and ounces you should be good.

I'll probably get an ozeri brand when I replace mine - they have high ratings and look nice. Currently I have an old WW scale which works fine because it has the features above.

Yep, I got a $10 cheapie from my grocery store. I've had it for years.

You don't need anything fancy, so go for what you like and what you know you'll use. :) Mine has a small footprint and is easy to move around the kitchen counters. I prefer the round ones with a raised surface to set your bowl or plate as opposed to the flat ones. The flat ones you end up covering the display with a big plate and then what's the point?

My scale has about a 5 pound limit, which is fine because I never need to weigh that much food. It does grams or pounds/ounces. Make sure to get one with a tare function - so you can add an ingredient, tare it, and then add the next. :) The batteries last about 6 months and I weigh stuff all day long.

If it's hard to narrow the choices, look at the bad reviews first to see what people hated. Sometimes those are more useful than the good reviews.
