I've spent the last 5 months going to the gym for the first time in my life and actually putting the effort into being healthy.

I have always had a bad relationship with food in that I don't eat enough so my body stores what I do eat, I can quite easily get by on less than a 1000 calories a day.

So 3 weeks ago I made a conscious effort to start eating more and more effectively, it's going well so far.

I am a bit obsessed with the scale which I know I shouldn't be as im weightlifting but it's hard not to be when you feel overwreight. I've dropped from 2000 calories after 2 weeks to 1800 as I seemed to be maintaining at 2000. I'm gonna give 1800 a go for 4 weeks and see how it goes. I'll post pictures at some point as I'm not shy.
