Good Morning,

Hope you are all well?

Well, my wife has bough me an iWatch to try and motivate me to exercise to lose weight and to get fit.

So have been playing around with various apps this week to see what suits me best and now looking for some guidance/feedback etc.

So I'm wearing the iWatch and carrying my iPhone with me and basically at the moment tracking my steps until i can get some free time to get back out on my bike.

so what I'm looking for guidance on is:

- i can't see a way to link the iWatch to MFP so have used two third party apps, Strava for bike rides and Pacer for monitoring steps. both of these are synced to MFP. I have selected in Settings>>Steps to user Pacer, seems fine. When i go to the diary of MFP its shows exercise as 27, where does this data get pulled from? as pacer shows 663 steps this morning. iM guessing these don't directly link but would like to know how its calculated.

any other advice, would be much appreciated.

Thanks

What type of iPhone do you have?

My iPhone 6 has the Apple Health app which counts my steps and syncs with MFP.

Does the iWatch have the Health app?

Yes it does, as well as the activity app and workout app. You can link your watch to MFP through the health app.
