Wall push ups

are wall push ups good? My routine as far as exercise is walk 10k to 15k steps and each time i go to bathroom i bust out 10 wall push ups since i am too out of shape to do normal ones. :(

    There's an ancient story of a powerful wrestler (Milo of Croton) who built up his strength by lifting a calf daily until it was a bull. It is very smart to start where you are and slowly build up your strength. As your wall pushups get easier, step farther and farther away from the wall.

    Yes they're good! Do them until you can do say.. 2 sets of 12 and then you can use the top of a dresser until 2x12.. then the bed.. then a chair, then a stool, then the floor :) over time, work your way lower. You have to start somewhere and wall pushups are a great place to start. If you're in the bathroom at work, you can do squats too hehe.

    yes, they are good. I do them since regular push ups are hard on my wrists.

    I started doing push ups against the counter in the bathroom and could only do 5 at a time. I know do 25 before peeing and another 25 after at least 6 times a day. You will build up fast so start with what you can do and keep pushing yourself!!! Every little bit helps!

    ^^ This, and using 5lb dumbbells for about 5minutes each morning and night for 15 months =
