Been struggling last few pounds

I have been losing for a little bit. I haven't been super healthy with my food choices but I have always been within my caloric intake limits and always told I would be losing weight in 5 weeks blah blah. I have been stuck where I am for the past few weeks and am trying to lose more weight (I am away today and today is not typical of my habits). I workout 4-5 times a week (mostly cardio, abs and pushups no heavy weight lifting recently) but only enter one day into MFP so I have more calories on Saturdays when I typically would eat less healthy.

I have tried changing my calorie limits by adjusting my activity level from Lightly Active to Sedentary to cut out more calories and I am close to that target, sometimes a little over but still showing it should be a weight loss. I don't know any other tips if anyone had to lose more. I don't know if I should be sedentary or lightly active etc. I typically have between 5000-15000 steps per day so I lowered my level since I have calories added with my steps but I am thinking of getting rid of that altogether and wasn't sure if anyone else felt like their steps interfered. Just looking to get a little push to start seeing progress again to bring motivation back and get rid of some of my frustration.

Can you give us your stats? Height, weight, calories goal per day? An open food diary would also really help.

Honestly it sounds like you need to start weighing your food and entering EVERY SINGLE THING into MFP. It's pretty basic. You are exercising a lot and most people/calorie counters/etc overestimate the number of calories burned. Without logging and weighing your food you are guaranteed to underestimate the number of calories consumed.

Start tracking every day and you will see weight loss within a week or two (depending on the size of your calorie deficit)

Try to eat more protein and cut back on simple carbs. I know calories are calories but you will feel better and more full with good healthy foods.
