Losing weight and occasional adult beverages?

Is it possible to lose weight and still have a drink on the weekend? It seems like I do so good all week and then I'll have a drink over the weekend and Monday I'm back to what I was. I don't drink every weekend but I like to some and I wish it didn't put a wrench in things. I still wanna have a little fun while losing weight. Any suggestions???

    YES YES YES! I have been losing since February and I drink twice a week. I make sure it fits in my calories every week and I'm good to go. Just make sure you account for EVERY calorie.

    If you're know the correct calories for what you are drinking and logging it, it shouldn't make a difference.

    Yep. I always had luck except when I got closer to goal, I noticed the bars were pouring more alcohol than I normally accounted for. I needed to tighten everything up so that is one thing I am very aware of now, in maintenance as well.
