Hi there. I have sarcoidosis and I am tapering off of prednisone, so I am looking for someone or some folks too share their experiences as well as gain from them as well. I'm tapering off of prednisone, & I would like to know how your coping with tapering down, or if you're on a high dose. What has been the outcome of having a high dose. I have had a very high dose, being that its 40 milligrams per day and it went on for 6 months, but now I'm tapering down and I am down to 10 milligrams a day. Thank you for reading this and I hope you have a awesome and healthy day:-)

My autoimmune issue is Ankylosing Spondylitis. Prednisone did a number on my joint cartilage. Finally last year I cut out most all forms of carbs (sugar and grains being the two big ones) and my pain dropped like a rock with 30 days and my IBS of 40 years started to go away about 120 days after I gave up carbs. A couple of side effects are I am loosing 2-3 pounds a month and am slowly regaining my health.0
