Hey guys,
im training for strength and muscle gain and doing squats, will it help me jump higher by just doing squats ? Or should i do more exercises ? Any tips ?

The clean is a good one for jumping ability, as are KB swings. Also high pulls (barbell or KB).0

Treat the basic lifts as foundational exercises and incorporate activity specific training if you have specific performance goals.
Lifts will build the strength needed but you will need to simply train jumping in a progressive fashion if jumping for height/distance is a goal.
The exercises listed by dr2501 may help and almost certainly won't hurt but I would keep it simple. Base built on strength/ skill built on specific training.0 -
Hi there. I've been working on similar goals myself. I just keep it simple and do wall squats among other things. Once in a while i'll do some weighted plyometrics.0
