Personal activity tracker?

Options
I just purchased a new personal activity tracker...a Striiv Fusion. I linked my tracker to MFP and yesterday my Striiv said I burned 350 calories but when transferred to MFP it said I only burned 43 calories. I don't understand why. I read the explanation on MFP but I don't understand it. Help!!!

I'm not familiar with ypur tracker - could it be that it's comparing your MFP activity level with your actual activity level?

I have a Fit Bit. I set my activity level to sedentary (lowest setting). I also enable negative adjustments. If I don't reach a sedentary level, then Fit Bit may actually take calories away.

I'm not sure..but I will take your advice and change my settings. I already had my mfp set to sedentary. Maybe I shouldn't link it to mt mfp.

I have a non-fitbit activity tracker - a Misfit flash. Did you wear your tracker all day, or just for part of the day? What Misfit does is it tells me calories burned based on a "whole day" + "existence" calories. So I get extra calories burned from sleeping. When I'd wake up in the morning, it would tell me I had 700 calories burned so far, synced with MFP that changed to 260 "burned from exercise". I ended up unsyncing them because I hadn't actually burned 260 calories, but I'd say wear your tracker all day & see what it & MFP are telling you. If, for example, it's telling you you've burned 1900cal and MFP's sync is saying + 600cal from exercise, than it's probably just syncing your activity, but the tracker tells you your overall burn.
