I have been on here for a bit. When I first started, I filled in my profile and was recommended to eat 1200 calories a day. I have been doing that, and lost 6 pounds - and that was all. I hit a plateau after the second week. So, I finally adjusted my calories to 1500 - started that on Monday - and lost another pound this week!!!! YAY me! So maybe I found my comfort area now. I am starting a weight watchers group 7 July. Maybe that will help me as well.

My exercise routine varies a bit - I get easily distracted if I do the same thing over and over again. I bought a couple Biggest Loser DVD's and got two of the girls I work with to join me. We love those. I got Jillian's 30 Day shred - started that this morning. On days that I don't have workout buddies, I ride a stationary bike for 45 minutes (up to that - started at 20 min) at 18-20 mph. So, I think I got the exercise thing down, just got to get a handle on the food thing! Oh, yeah, and the water thing - never craved water, but I make myself drink it and gave up regular pop. I still drink 2 diet MT Dew's a day, but that is my caffeine (not a coffee drinker).

I am happy to have found this website and hope I can stick with it! I like to read the success stories! Maybe I can have one.
