I've put on nearly a stone since Xmas and this morning I woke and decided enough is enough. I've cut out bread, pasta and potatoes and started the couch to 5k.
Who's with me!?

There's no need to cut out bread, pasta and potato, just eat in a calorie deficit.

I'm following Atkins and not quite physically ready for C25k, but working on my fitness! Lovin my low carb life! (And, yes, I do watch calories also)

If you are going to run using the c25k program (which I ADORE, it's awesome, and you will love it), don't cut out carbs completely you will need a certain amount to give you enough energy to run.

Also, yes, just stay in your calorie deficit, and you will lose weight.

Yep, if you want to run, you're going to need the cards.

Understand that a low-carb diet is not the reason people lose weight. They lose weight because not eating so many carbs puts them into a calorie deficit. Once you realize that scientific fact, you can come to the understanding that you can eat a wide variety of foods and still be in a deficit. So there's no reason to cut carbs (a valuable energy source for exercise) out of your diet.

Just track your foods and eat at a deficit.
