One day won't derail 9 weeks of work. Move on and get back on track!0 -
You probably gained a pound and set yourself back one week. That's not a big deal. Most of the weight you gained will be water weight so don't worry about it. Just continue as you have been and you should be able to lose that pound and more.0

About six weeks into my diet flip, I ate a cheeseburger and fries. I got right back on the horse. I think it helped that it left me feeling ucky, but slips happen. It's part of the process...at least it was for me. Good times, bad times. If you don't give up, you get where you're going.0

If you're gonna decide and go over on your calories try and let it happen only at one meal. Don't continue eating like that for the rest of the day. Our diets also need to be about training ourselves to eat more responsibly and not fall back into the pattern that got us in this problem in the first place. Next time one cheat meal...and then one cheat item....and do on and so on.0

This is simple math, friend. What is your maintenance, what is you deficit?
For example, if maintenance if 3000 calories and your daily deficit is 500 calories, then you ate 3000 over maintenance; this will take 6 days of dieting to undo.0 -
No worries, just get back to doing what you were doing before.0

We are human and make mistakes. This is something my counselor taught me; if you continue to beat your self up you continue the cycle of failure, cheat, feel guilty and cheat and so on. Hard lesson for sure. I continue to work on this one, but a pound in the grand scheme of things isn't a failure, more of a set back, but not reversible by any means.0

3500 (ish) calories a pound. Do the math.

Today my lunch (Applebee's Quesadilla Burger with fries) was 1880 calories (according to their website) and I topped it off with half of a Butterfinger Flurry. I didn't eat anything else today and I'm absolutely stuffed and I'm about to go to bed. I don't know how you managed to eat 6k calories.
Also, that was my worst single meal in 60 days.... So tasty0 -
Log it and move on.0
