Confused exercise calories.

so I am trying to lose weight,
The bit that confuses me is....I should eat 1200 calories a day to lose weight apparently....but then I gain an extra 300-500 from exercise
Do I eat these extra calories from working out or don't I?
If I do eat them will I still lose weight?
Thankyou if you respond

Your default MFP calorie goal already has your deficit built in, so you're supposed to eat back your exercise calories.
All the calorie counts & burns are estimates, so some people reduce the margin of error by eating back a percentage of their exercise calories.
Please read the Sexypants post. It's full of good "how-to" information: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p10
