Hi Guy's
I am new here and wanted to say hi! I am a 53 year old married (of almost 30 years) female with three children, ( b/g twins that are seniors in high school and a 24 year old). I just went to the doctor and have hit 277 lbs! I am only 5"1' so i guess i look like a weeble. I Can NOT believe that I am that big. Doc said I have gained 20 lbs in the last month. :o Possible hypothyroid. But she wants me to have a sleep study first. I'm not sure I want to do that because I know tons of people that have done the sleep study and ALL needed machines. Only I or 2 use the machines after purchasing them...excluding my husband and my brother that is a resportary specialist :) Doc wants to wait 3 months to see me again....and 60 lbs more???
I am a Coke a holic but am trying to replace my 53 year habit with water. I have back and knee issues (Ortho doc wants to do knee replacement as soon as I get my bmi down)I am from SC and would love a accountability partner in what appears to be a long journey. So if you are of mind, stop by and say hi back! TC

Hi! I am 54, married, and have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren! Among some adopted kids and grandkids! I have been battling weight my whole life and when I weighed in at my heaviest about 6 months ago, I new I had to do something. I lost 20 pounds the first 4-5 months and then joined a group of focused and supportive people and lost 36 more in the last 90 days! Support and accountability key! Although I still have a long way to go, my medical conditions improving, my medications are decreasing, and I have never felt better! I'll email you more!
