calories from marinades

I have a lot of recipes that uses marinades, most of it I just throw away as excess when I start to cook. Yet when I put in a recipe all those calories are counted as consumed.
How do I document what I've really eaten.

Weigh the marinade before and weigh what's left after and subtract it.0

Weighing before and after the food is in the bag is really the best estimate you can get.0
