Im new on here I need to loose some serious weight just carnt get round it at all am shocking trying to work out carbs n that if zomeone can guve me some tips will be very appreciated

Focus on calories first and foremost...a deficit is how you lose weight. If you decide to go low carb, that's up to you, but it won't necessarily help if you aren't counting.

Besides, you need some data first before you can analyze it and make good choices about where to make changes. Once logging starts feeling easier, then start focusing on the changes you'd like to make in your eating and activity patterns.0 -
You got the first step by adding MFP, I'd say you should sync with an activity tracker so it could show calories burned and give you daily caloric intake for the day. As you progress, you can start adjusting the carb intake based on your activity0
