I have lost weight (a lot over the years) I have run, I have lifted. What I want, please and thank you, is guidance from someone who has implemented a lifting program (serious) and had success.

Specifically with a starting program, diet (macros especially I am at a loss). I have: free weights and a home gym.

I am twelve pounds away from my goal.

My current BF% (yes I have searched and read) is 22.7%.

What I want is to be cut but feminine.

What exactly do you have in the way of your free weights and a home gym?

I have just put together a 3 week program for a friend of mine who has just started going to the gym and is a total newbie. My husband and I are doing it as well. I am in shape and have to admit that week one is kicking my butt!!

You an PM me if you want more info.

    I will be more specific.

    I want to be cut/toned.

I am in decent shape. I want guidance as to how to lower my BF% and increase lean muscle.

I am very close to where I want to be.

I am doing HIITS and want to incorporate lifting into the mix.

I know this will help me reach my goals.
  • Check out the book New Rules of Lifting for Women. I've heard such great things. The trainer who wrote the program, Alwyn Cosgrove, is highly respected in the industry.

I just bought it myself! :)

    This book I have.

    I am not a novice.

I want advice on how to step things up. Right now all I do are
Lat pull downs, chest press, shoulder press, cable triceps, leg curls (standing)
    leg extensions (the basics)

I am doing hiits with lighter weights (or body) to get cardio in.

I need guidance as to how to use our home gym to maximize results.

    For example

I was watching a woman online do these oblique cable bends??

I would never know to do things like that
