    I keep my wine in a box under the stairs... it will hold about 140 bottles...currently sitting on 50 or so...but have had as many as 80... it ebbs and flows depending on the barbecue season... and mood...a wine fridge is a good idea if you have a prized bottle or collect reds... or champagne... I have 8 bottles of this gorgeous "pink" champagne. saving them for my daughter's wedding since she was 12.
