Hey guys! I ve seen challenges here for 20000 plus steps.. Frankly I can barely manage 10000 a day just once a week. My average is 7000 a day. Anyone here want to participate in hitting 10000 a day? You can add me or we can post end of day counts here everyday for August atleast? Go!

Feel free to add me. My goal is 8000 a day, but with workouts I usually hit 10.

I get about 16000 steps a day. You would be surprised how making yourself walk a longer way to something or standing in place taking steps will do for you.

I generally do 10,000 but use the step counter on my phone, which I don't have on me at work. Wonder how many steps I take wandering around the office?

I suppose that could easily vary between 3000 to 5000 or more. Our office is 3000 sq ft and that's what my count is.

I don't hit 10,000 everyday but if I join others with the same goal it is more motivating

I was at 3,000 on average day a month ago. Currently aiming for 6000 a day which currently seems to require effort but is doable. Work from home desk job means I have to really try to get steps in.

When I am at home, I try for 10,000 every day.

I'm traveling through the 12th, though, and my time really isn't my own until then, so it varies a lot. (Plus I'm fighting a nagging hip injury -- Am trying to take it easy when that goes from 'ache' to 'pain!')

Yesterday, I hit 1000 miles walked since starting with my Fitbit on 18 January!

    Oh! and I'm a desk-job work-from-home person, too.

That's quite an achievement... Specially with the hip injury! Just shows you are stronger than the excuses! Keep going...

I easily hit 10,000 a day. It's the Summer holidays here (I'm a teacher) and I have 3 young kids and we're out every day. Just in a day at work I hit around 7000 as I don't tend to sit down.
