Two months down... Will I meet my goal?

I started myfitnesspal a little over two months ago and so far I am down 9lbs. My goal is to lose at least 47lbs by my wedding which is in over a year. I'm already about 20% to my goal but for some reason I feel like I haven't been losing that much. The first month I lost 7.2lbs and in the last month I've only lost 2lbs. I don't want my weight loss to slow down this much and I really want to meet or exceed my goal. Does anyone have any suggestions? I try to eat my 1200 calories a day and sometimes I do go over. I walk everyday for an hour at work on my lunch hour and I try to go on my treadmill when I get home too. I also don't diet or exercise on the weekends because I feel like I'd go insane if I tried to do this everyday.

Basically I just really want to lose the weight and I feel like I am not really on track to do that at this point.

Any helpful ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

You can't really expect to lose more than 1 lb a week.. maybe 1.5 lbs if your lucky. The best advice, start doing some heavy weight training, add in some cardio and see more body composition changes than weight. Weight is meaningless. When you sustain muscle and lose fat, your body will be much tighter than when you lose fat and muscle. Shown below by a woman who gained 20 lbs and has a better better. Being young, 1600-1800 calories will probably produce better results. Also, i would adjust macros to add more protein/fats and less carbs. This helps with satiety and muscle repair. I like macro's around 35% carbs, 40% protein and 25% fats.
