Apple Watch Accuracy

Hi everyone!
It's been a while since I've posted here, just trying to get back into the weight loss and calorie counting groove since I fell out of it about a year ago. I got an Apple Watch in May as one of the first to become available in black and I love using it to workout, however I'm concerned that maybe the calories aren't accurate?
I've noticed that when I use a stationary bike for an hour the actual machine only tell me I've burned about 400 calories whereas my watch tells me anywhere between 600-800 per hour. Should I trust the watch more given it bases calories burned off my weight and heart rate? Thanks!
