how do you get the 10000 steps to register on fitness pal

    It depends on how you answer these questions:

    Is it just 10,000 steps that your step counter registered through the random activity you performed throughout the day.......walking from Point A to Point B, walking around the house, casual pace, etc? If that's the case, don't log anything. Why? Because as far as adjusting the numbers on this website through inputting a "workout", you really didn't do anything. If you regularly get 10,000 daily, adjust your activity level setting and leave it at that.

    On the other hand, were the majority of these steps done at an increased pace, on high or random inclines, with weights in your hand? If that's the case, use one of the pre-form workouts that you can search for, subtract the amount of calories your body would have already burned by virtue of your BMR, and input that.
