To Whey or Not to Whey, That is the ?

Ok, I was told that after a good hard work out to drink Protein Shake etc to refuel your body. I then was told not to drink protein shakes because it build muscle. Now I do want to be nice and cut (have a looooong ways to go) lol I do However my workouts mostly consist of High Cardio.
Which is it? Whey or no Whey? :drinker:

    I have 2-3 protein shakes a day. Your body does need the protein to fuel the body. You are a woman, unless you are taking the juice you will not be bulky or look like a man. We don't have the testosterone to do it. I was drinking shakes just doing cardio. 1 a day. Now that I am working out more I need more protein. Because I am such a picky eater this is the best way for me to get it.
