Does anyone have the Sakar GNC Live Well Ultra Bluetooth Activity Tracking Band

I just purchased this item, and the user manual is of no use. When I first tried to connect through my bluetooth I was able to find the device. I tried to pair them, but couldn't tell if it was connected. Then I realized that I was supposed to pair through the app. Once I DL the app, I could no longer find the device on my bluetooth list.

I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, going through the app to search for the device, turning the blue tooth on and off, turning the phone on and off. I am at a loss here.

I contacted the seller I purchased it from through ebay to see if they could help me, tried to google some answers, and went to the gnc website but found NOTHING so far.
