Getting strong

Hi everyone I have been using MFP since November 2014 and have so far lost only 20 pounds. I gained 40 pounds with quitting smoking. I quit September 27th 2013. I gave myself enough time to readjust myself to a smoke free life. At my age losing weight after quitting smoking is just plain tough! I have always kept my weight under control but wow it sure is tough now. I want to lose all the weight so I can fit back into my clothes again. I belong to a gym and have been getting personal training 3 times a week to regain strength, stamina and endurance. My joints and muscles are feeling so much better now. In the first five months I had to apply ointments and heating pads to all my joints as they were so weak and achy but now they are strong again and I want them to stay this way. At 60 I want to be in the best shape of my life. Hope everyone has a great August!
