Any recommendations on snacks which are low in calories and sugar?

    Chicken breast
    Turkey jerky

    There's a big difference in the sugar content of fruit. For example, it would seem to me that strawberries are sweeter than bananas and apples, but it turns out they have the lowest sugar content. I don't worry about sugar in fruit, however, it was just something I was surprised to learn.

    I don't eat fruit as a snack by itself - I need to have protein and fat to feel satisfied. Apple and peanut butter is great, but I weigh the PB as 2 Tablespoons have 200 calories and it is easy to exceed that via eyeballing.
