Hi!! My name is Olivia. I'm 19, married, 5'9", and 154 lbs. I have two jobs at the moment, one in food service and the other at a gym. My typical schedule is weekdays 3pm to 12am and 12pm to 5pm Saturdays. I want to do better with eating. I really only have lunch and a snack at work. Everything else is junk because I'm tired or I don't have time to make meals. BUT I want to have a healthier body. Heads up, I love chicken and veggies (but no squash) and I have an allerg to raw fruits. Any suggestions? Please and thank you!

A few weeks ago I started a different shift that means about twelve hours away from home. I pack everything in. I meal prepped like mad to stay on top of it. Every meal I made I did double or triple, turning dinner leftovers in to lunch the next day. I froze another for later. The slow cooker did overtime making a roast and a chilli. I used wraps. Packed ziplocks full of fruits and vegetables. Snack crackers and snack size cheese, yogurt and cottage cheese. It takes planning upfront but once a pattern gets going it takes less time than takeout.

I love to make things in bulk: soup, stew, chili, stuffed peppers, zucchini boats, meatballs, muffin tin recipes, burgers, nuggets, burritos, sauces, etc. and freeze them in individual portions. You only expend your house and personal energy once, use up everything that could go bad, and you end up with meals on your table in less than 10 minutes.
