My newbie post

Hello,
I have already lost 30lb, but everyone recommended mfp, so I decided to sign up. I like having a convenient tracker. Anyway, I have around 65lb left to lose. I am 5'3, and a female. I have always had very physically demanding jobs, and during one of those jobs, I managed to rupture my Achilles tendon by lifting far more weight than was humanly possible. It was a year long recovery, and in that time I gained a lot of weight as I couldn't exercise (I was non weight bearing for 7 months due to the severe tear). It has been 2 years, and although my right calf is sooooo much smaller than the left one, I am finally doing something about the weight. I don't think I will ever do weighted calf raises, but I have been doing hiit for a little while with minimal discomfort.
