energy without the calories

So iv'e been tracking my calories and im attempting to go down a few lbs by doing so. but it seems if i try to eat healthy i end up with no energy and have to eat more food in order to not be starving and have sufficient energy and i often go over my calorie limit as a result. what are some low calorie meal ideas that will give me the energy i need for the day?

Anything that promises more energy with less calories is a gimmick. Calories are a unit of measure for energy. Some foods may feel more filling with less calories.0

Clear indicator that you aren't getting enough calories. Yes, you need to be at a deficit of maintenance calories...no, you don't need to starve yourself. You need to eat enough calories to maintain your energy levels and allow you to perform your day to day activities...but less than your body needs to maintain weight.
Maybe shoot for 1 Lb per week loss...also, you're supposed to eat back exercise calories with MFP...MFP is a NEAT method calculator. I always ate back about 70% of mine per my HRM to account for estimation error. I've lost 35-40 Lbs and was never miserable or lacking in energy.0
