Hi there, feel free to add me. I am from Minnesota also. This is a great site, I have been quite slack with putting my foods in here lately, but works well when I put forth the effort.

I hear you. I started out well over 300 in the 320-330 range. I am glad I don't know exactly how much I weighed. It would have been hard to start dieting with that big a number in my head. I am glad you are dealing better than I would have. But, I know I would have been overwhelmed. I was overwhelmed just by what I was seeing in the mirror. I broke up the overwhelming feeling by breaking things up into smaller achievable goals. Not even weight goals per se. I had fitness goals like I will start eating more fiber. I will start eating more protein. I will eat less junk food, basically food out of vending machines. I will walk more. Things like that and now I am ready to dive into gym life.
