Am I logging something incorrectly? Calories burned

I don't know if I'm doing something incorrectly, or what. I'm trying to figure out why it only gives calories burned on cardio activities? Right now I'm battling a wicked knee injury, so I'm sticking with a lot of weight lifting. However, my log shows zero calories burned for those activities. Which kind of sucks....

MFP doesn't calculate calories burned via weights. There is a weight lifting option in the cardio list but I would suggest amending the number of calories it gives you - I reduce it by 50% as they say its greatly over estimated0

Add "Strength training (weight lifting, weight training)" to Cardiovascular to get estimated Calories Burned added to your Diary. Please note that the Calories burned for Cardiovascular exercises provided by MFP are based on published metabolic equivalent of tasks (METs), which are estimates for a general population and may differ for you as an individual. If desired, add individual strength training exercises, such as "Biceps Curl," to Strength Training to have a log of sets, reps, and weights as individual exercises.
