Measuring olive oil for salads

i make my own dressing for Greek salad - and measure and track 1tblsp of olive oil. But I feel like it's not accurate because I don't actually eat all the dressing on the bottom of the bowl (although I'm tempted to sometimes) - any ideas to track this better?

I'd log everything I used. If you think you are leaving a lot, just put on less or consider it a little extra to cover some under logging on other things.

For one serving of dressing I'd use more like 1 tsp of olive oil, though.

A few less calories you eat vs logg in your journey isn't going to hurt you. Just log maximum amounts.

I don't sweat it if there's a little leftover dressing, but the solution is to weigh your salad bowl and subtract that tare weight from the weight of your almost empty bowl. Then subtract that difference from the dressing weight you started with.

I do a tablespoon of EVOO and a tablespoon of a flavored vinegar. There is not enough left at the bottom to even notice. So, no, I wouldn't bother about subtracting it.
