Could people critique my Food & Exercise Diary?

I just want some sort of confirmation that I'm doing the right things?

lots of generic entries in there - 1 cup, 1 bag etc. your really do need to weigh everything,
also eat half exercise calories back, you seem to be burning quite a lot - how do you measure these burns? i do 50 minutes of intense body combat and come out with 432 calories burnt via my polar heart rate monitor.0 -
The only thing I'd say is your sugars look high lots of fruit fruit juice artificially sweetened porridge and fat free yoghurt which is loaded with fat free sugar, try replacing with a bag of mange tout or Cucumber and carrot sticks they are sweet but have less sugar and lots of fibre keeping you fuller and preventing a blood sugar spike0

- weigh your food. I doubt your clementine was exactly 73g, and 'medium apple' and 'banana' are not accurate either. I've eaten apples that were 110 calories and bananas that were 130 calories.
- your calorie burn seems pretty impossibly high
- also assuming you're not logging properly as you have almost nothing logged for yesterday
- generic 'toast with butter'... nope. Bread slices can go from 40 to 160 calories, and depending on the butter you can have 10 or 200 calories of it...
Basically weigh your food, don't use generic entries except for simple ingredients, and log everything.0 -
I workout with www.fitnessblender.com and they work out the average burn for each of their videos. I'm heavier than the average weight they use so probably burn more calories but stick with what they say.
I'm not sure about the fruit juice as I don't really drink that much fruit juice?? - I'll keep an eye on it though. Would I be better off just having normal porridge (like plain oats)?
The one thing I have trouble with is sugar as I eat lots of fruit - I'm going to take the advice and switch to cucumber and carrot sticks
Am hoping to buy a measuring scale after pay day
Thanks so much for the help guys0 -
Thanks so much - will definitely be investing in those scales.
I get my calorie burn from the website so not sure what else to go on with that one?? - any ideas would be appreciated0 -
I didn't eat much yesterday - skipped dinner as I was late in so log was accurate0
