Eating back exercise calories

Hello, this may have been beaten to death but here's a go. I'm currently not using a heart rate monitor I plan on getting a polar monitor to track crossfit workouts soon. I'm looking to lose those last 7 lbs. I'm curious as to how much people add back in after exercising. I've read that people say you shouldn't add back in calories for lift days, this seems incorrect to me. I dont log the lifts before crossfit ~15 min. I log my hour + pure strength workouts and eat back about 80% of those. I'm trying to conserve my lean mass as much as possible. I have been losing but worried I may get stuck in a plateau. Seems like you would need to fuel those lift workouts even if they are not designed to burn calories. I even considered eating back my stretching calories which granted are minimal. Thoughts anyone?

I use a hrm for steady cardio and eat all of it back. For lifting I use mfp's numbers and eat half back either that day or the next. If I don't do that my lifts suffer greatly. It's not many calories but it makes a big difference for me.
