Iron Cowboy 50-50-50 world record

I'm not sure if this should be in "Motivation" or in "Fitness" but I find this story inspiring.

This guy did 50 Ironman Triathlons in 50 consecutive days and in 50 states. Just the logistics of all the travel would make it extremely challenging.

He states than one problem was avoiding falling asleep during the bike portion.

When you read about the blisters he suffered on his feet it is amazing.

    He ate 7,000 to 8,000 kcal every day.

    Technically he cheated on one day when he did the "run" on an elliptical. But I am still giving him the props for pulling it off anyway.

    This figure doesn't at all shock me. I consume about 8000 through the course of the day during an Ironman as well, which seems to make sense. A normal day for me is between 3500 and 4000 and that is just a typical training day. He had some very long days to fuel.

    Amazing achievement, but he needs to get rid of the speedo's - ugh!
