Working out macros

Hey up all need some advice if possible? I'm currently weighing in at 208 pounds current body fat is 12% I want these abs popping out (don't we all lol) my lean mass is 183lb my fitness pal is telling me to eat 303g of carbs obviously the rest of the calories are made up of protiens and fats I work out 5 times a week and do 3 cardio sessions on top of that is eating this amount of carbs to high? or is this going to get this last bit of chunk of me? il be grateful for any advice cheers in advance

    The carbs are fine. They don't make you fat... a caloric surplus does.
    • 0.6-0.8g of protein per lb of body mass
    • 0.4-0.45g of protein per lb of body mass
    • fill rest of calories with carbs

    If you're talking about losing fat, it doesn't really matter. If you're talking about getting rid of water weight, fewer carbs might be the way to go.

    It actually does matter. Not getting in adequate protein can lead to lean more lean tissue losses than necessary. To ensure the maximum amount of weight that is lost is fat it's best to get in adequate protein. Getting in enough dietary fat is important for overall health. If OP is male, it's also important in testosterone production. This is how I work out macros:
