Last year at this time I was fat and lazy and struggled to walk a mile and a half at a reasonable pace. This morning I got together with 172 of my newest friends and did this.

I wanted to get in the top three of my age group, but maybe next time.

It was fun. Plus I got a shirt and a banana. Can't beat that, right?

Woo hoo!!! What a difference a year makes. You could have stayed, "fat and lazy" or got out and started. That's what I told myself. Stay "fat and lazy, or just start moving." I chose to start moving. I have logged for 55 days and have started walking. I will be doing a 5k someday soon! That is one of my goals too! Thanks for the success story!!

Great job. Way to turn your health around and kick some serious calorie / 5K butt.
