Hey guys! I'm 5'11" and just looking for some suggestions as to a goal weight for myself. I know I will ultimately have to decide as I get closer. I was originally thinking 180, but I'm wondering if that might be too low. I started out at 302 and I am currently 257. Here is a current picture:

    NICE WORK!
    :)
I'd suggest you take a look at your BMI weight range.
That's an objective standard and a good place to start. I am 5'9", and my BMI range is up to 160...and I weight 180, so it's not a set-in-stone proposition.
It's merely a guide. 180 might work well for you too.

Keep up the great effort and results!

A lot of people have told me that I don't look like I weigh as much as I do. 180 I believe is still in the overweight BMI category, but I fear going below that because I don't want to be super skinny. I'd rather have muscle and be fit.

Aim for the 180 for now. If you get there and decide you still want to lose, choose 5-10 pound increments until you're satisfied. Even if you decide at 185-190 that you're good, you can stop there.

    Good idea, thank you.
