Hey guys, i started this 4 days ago and I am learning new things about calories that I never knew. I have never really though about calories and as a kid no one told me about anything, I was always chubby. I have tried to worke out maybe once every two years but it fails horribly after discovering I lose no weight. I realize now, that it is my diet that needs my attention and thanks to this app, I am keeping an eye on it.
It's amazing how much calories I used to eat before. I had no idea about portion sizes but it really adds up. Those small numbers on the tin always fooled me but I never really checked how much a portion the serving was.
With my 1kg per week goal, I've been set at around 1350 and after the first 3 days, it's not really that hard, I am feeling satisfied and turns out all that snacking was due to having easy access delicious foods and snacks lying about and just boredom. But now that i have to cook for food, I am not tempted to just eat for pleasure as opposed to hunger. I gotta say, I thought it would be a lot harder. I hope I stay this way and see results for the first time in my life.
