I am a 20 year old lady, and I am finally getting serious about losing weight and getting into shape. I am having trouble trying to stay away from my cravings, and need motivation to exercise. I work as a care aid year round (so I am too tired to exercise when I get home), and then I'm in school from September to April (and then I am too busy with homework to exercise). 70 lbs to go.

Hi Chantel. There is a wealth of information here in the forums that have been posted by some of the great members of MFP. Take a few minutes to read, it's super informative!

Keep it simple, ultimately it comes down to calories in/calories out (CICO). Eat less, move more. Invest in a digital food scale, weigh and measure everything you consume. Ask questions, someone will always be willing to offer advice. Best of luck :)

Hey I'm also in school too! It'll get busy in September but I hope to keep at it! I have a motivational group on here would you like to join? Add me and I'll add you to it :)
