Stronglifts 5x5 during Rugby Season

So 2 months ago I got back into stronglifts 5x5. I like the program, but recently the weights are starting to get heavy. The problem is I am in the middle of Rugby season.
My routine was this.
Monday - 5x5
Tuesday - Rugby Training (cardio) about 30 mins
Wednesday - 5x5
Thursday - Rugby Training (cardio) about 20 mins
Friday - 5x5
Saturday - Rugby Match.
The cardio sessions at rugby training weren't hard work BUT after a heavy weights session on Friday, saturdays Rugby might not be to the best of my ability. So I changed to this.
Tuesday 5x5 then rugby training
Thursday 5x5 then rugby training
Saturday Rugby Match
Sunday 5x5
Good in theory, but battered and brusied makes Sunday lifting hard.
So the question is, it 2 sessions enough till the rugby season finished (about 7 weeks away), then back to Mon - Wed-Fri. Or do I go back to Mon - Wed - Fri and assume that the heavy weight session on Friday won't have a negative effect on Saturdays game?
Suggestions? Options? Any advice would be welcome.

I am no expert at all but my advice is to do whatever gets you the best out of your preferred exercise. If your current goal is to gain strength the concentrate on the strong lifts and fit the rugby in where you can. If your priority is rugby right now then concentrate on that and fit the stronglifts in so you can still get the best out of your rugby.
Personally I think that rugby season is short and stronglifts will still be there when the season is over. The whole process is supposed to be fun - this is just a hobby. No laws will be broken, no feelings will be hurt if you do SL 2 times a week and concentrate on playing rugby to the best of your ability for a few more weeks.

Yep,... exactly this ^^.0

I agree with ^^^^. Enjoy rugby, SL will still be waiting for you. Pick it back up after, watch the gains the rest of the year and reap the benefits during rugby next season.0

Cheers guys.
SL 2x a week as a weight session to keep things going. Once rugby is over SL 3x a week until preseason cardio kicks in.0
