Some foods have green check marks next to them listed. What does it mean? Some similar foods would have a green check mark next to it and some won't. Thank you!❤️

It's supposed to mean that the item has been verified, i.e you can trust it. However, it actually means someone at MFP got some green crayons and didn't know what to do with them other than "verify" data that is wrong.

Check everything, using resources other than MFP.

The "verified" check mark is a relatively recent addition to MFP. At first, I foolishly assumed it meant something. Then I started finding 2 different verified calorie # for the same food. And other facially wrong entries. It is worse than useless, because some people will reply on it. I am a huge MFP fan, but whoever was responsible for implementing it should be fired.
