The App Waterlogged

The app 'waterlogged' is my one of my favorite health apps. It tracks how much water you drink, and gives you goals. Definitely something to look at

I still don't really get people's obsession with water.

Like I see people posting images of what I have to assume is a 6 litre plastic jug with times and words of encouragement written down the side.

Just seems a little over the top. Torture even.

yeah I was thinking the same thing...

I think some people think drinking copious amounts of water is some kind of magical weight loss tool??

Out of curiosity, a few months back I tracked my water intake. I included the tea I drink all day too. I consumed upwards of 6 litres in a day without really thinking about it. I think I'm plenty waterlogged!

Drinking copious amounts of water doesn't make you any healthier

Too much/too little of anything/everything positive, is always negative. 1st you'll overwork your kidneys & 2nd include your water intake from edible sources, such as pasta; when tallying your consumption.

Ya, I once had a really boring job for two months and spent a lot of time getting up to get water, then getting up to pee, then getting up for more water...

It's no fun when you have an outside job with no loo's close by. You just hope there's bushes around to give you coverage! !

Is also really good for your step count. I credit my water drinking for 1000 steps a day at work

My theory is that it's an easy goal for most people. So they might overeat one day and not exercise that day but boy howdy, they drank their water!

I guess but if they aren't exercising shouldn't they drink less water?

    I just find it odd.

The large quantities, the rigidity, and water enhancers.

It's like they take something simple like drinking some water and add rules and regulations for some reason.

Water is very good for you. But if you drink to much it can disrupt your potassium levels. And make you pee to much.

I found water logging to be helpful when I first started working out. I am caffeine's biggest fan and while I had everything sorted out for my sedentary lifestyle, logging helped me reevaluate my uptake spread out over the day.

Does the app let you record all types of liquids?

No idea. Used a totally different app!
I just logged non caffeinated beverages. Even milk is mostly water!

Is it an iPhone app where you pee on the screen and it tells you your hydration ?
