hi everyone, I'm looking for some tips and advice. I'm looking at loosing around 2 more stone and toning up. I want definition though for example in my bis, tris, traps, back, legs etc. In a training session how much time would you say I need to spend doing cardio and what cardio is best? and how long would I concentrate on weights for? Any tips or exercise info appreciated. Do add me also! Thank you

Get a solid, basic lifting program in place. Worry less about time for lifting, and more about how many sets and reps you're getting with good form. As for cardio, HIIT is great, but anything you like that you'll do will work. To "tone", that just really means losing fat so the muscle you have is visible. Eat less than you burn, and the fat will come off. Cardio to help burn more, and for the physical health benefits to your lungs, heart, etc., and lifting to prevent muscle loss while eating in a deficit, so you have muscle to show off as you lose the fat.0

Do a power lifting program(wendlers 5x5 or ICF 5x5), should take about 45-60 minutes a day to do the workout. I wouldn't start doing cardio until I plateaued. I lost 97lbs with out doing an ounce of cardio I only started because I wanted to hit the 100lbs lost mark.
If you are completely lost or new I always suggest using youtube for training tips and learning. If you're loaded I would research for a good trainer and hire them, please note most gym trainers are morons who's certificate is from a 3 day course. Treat it like a job interview and see what they have to offer.0
